GradeSpeed Parent Sign-Up Instructions
 

Please follow the directions below to setup Parent Connections:

  1. Log on tohttp://gradespeed.mnps.org/pc (Do not use www as part of the URL)
  2. In the opening dialog click on Click here to sign up” (Look below the Log On Button)
  3. Create your account by filling in the requested information – Please complete all sections.
    • The password must be 8 characters long and include a number
    • Use your physical address and not your PO Box number
    • The address must match the address that is on file for your child
  4. Click on Add Email and enter your email address
  5. Place a check mark next to I agree to the above terms of usage
  6. Click on Sign up
  7. Your verification code will be emailed to you.
  8. Go to your email account and obtain the code and place it in the box where requested.
  9. To navigate to the next screen click on Continue
  10. At the bottom of the page click on Add a student to my account
  11. Complete the requested information about your child.
  12. The Student No. is your child’s Social Security number or State ID
  13. You must include the Child’s Name and the School’s Name
  14. Explore the links on the left to gather facts about your child’s:
      • Attendance
      • Assignments
      • Grade
    • To email a teacher double click on the name of the class. An email dialogue box should appear
  15. Explore additional features that are available for you to utilize
    • Triggers - You can set triggers to receive email/text message
    • Child is absent
    • Updates on grades
    • Calendar
    • Manage Students
    • My Settings
